Egg in a Bottle
Step 1: Place the egg on top of the glass bottle to ensure that it does not fit but sits nicely on top. Remove the egg and place it on the table within reach.
Step 2: Light your piece of paper on fire and drop it down inside the bottle. Quickly place the egg back on top of your bottle.
Step 3: Watch as the egg slowly moves into the bottle!

Walking Water
Step 1: Position the two glasses about 3 inches apart. Fill one glass halfway with water. Add food coloring and stir if you desire.
Step 2: Fold the paper towel horizontally (like a hot dog). Place one end of paper towel into your water and the other end into the empty glass.
Step 3: Wait and watch as the water moves, or “walks”, from one glass to the other. This will take some time!

Straw Rockets
Step 1: Draw, color, and cut out rockets using your paper, markers, and scissors.
Step 2: Tape one side of the milkshake straw shut. Tape or glue that straw to the back of rocket with the closed part at the top.
Step 3: Place your regular straw inside the milkshake straw, take a deep breath, and blow as hard as you can to see how high you can make your rocket fly!

Giant Fingerprints
Step 1: Wipe one finger and let dry. Place finger on ink pad and roll from side to side in order to thoroughly cover fingertip in ink.
Step 2: Lay out one balloon flat on a table or hard surface. Place inked fingertip on balloon and slowly roll from side to side to transfer fingerprint to balloon.
Step 3: Let ink dry and then blow up the balloon and tie off. This will make your fingerprint giant!

Snowflakes
Step 1: Use pipe cleaners to make snowflake shapes. Tie the string to your snowflake and the other end to a pencil.
Step 2: CAREFULLY add boiling water until the jar is almost full. Add 3 tablespoons of Borax per every cup of water. Stir while adding Borax until dissolved.
Step 3: Rest your pencil on top of the jar so the snowflake doesn’t touch the sides or bottom and is completely covered in liquid. Allow the jar to sit overnight. Remove your beautiful snowflake in the morning!

Light Up Christmas Ornaments
Step 1: Fill ornaments 3/4 with oil. Fill the rest of the way with water. Add desired food color.
Step 2: Add tops back onto ornaments, slip ornaments onto the string and attach string so that it hangs.
Step 3: Crumble up Alka Seltzer into powder. Slowly add small amounts into the opening at the top of the ornament and watch as your ornament comes to life!
